A bit about the work at hand:
- Motivated by a position that has commission and bonus potential on top of base pay
- Ability to work within monthly target goals of Membership Sales and Revenues
- Ability to train, manage and lead others in prospecting, presenting, and selling
- Proven track record managing sales department and/or Personal training sales department in large fitness center
- Skilled at talent management from recruiting to onboarding to training and peak performance retention
- Superior customer service excellence delivery and conflict resolution with clients, staff and colleagues
- Keen eye to inspect fitness center for ongoing safety, cleanliness and functionality of all equipment
- Effective at meeting deadlines and adapting schedule to meet ever changing operational demands
- Proficient understanding of payroll management, forecasting, and expense management
- Experience implementing annual marketing plan and upholding integrity of the brand
- Build and develop working relationships with local corporate accounts and community and civic groups
- Highly ambitious, honest and results driven possessing tactful and impactful communications
- Personal conviction that embraces fitness as an integral part of the relationship between good health and a positive lifestyle
The ideal preparation for the work:
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Health & Fitness, Exercise Science, Business Management or related field, preferred. 3 or more years of supervisory/personnel management including expertise in fitness membership sales leadership. Proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies, business plans, forecast and budgets with a clear understanding of the bottom-line approach to performance. CPR, First Aid Certified. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based platforms.
